Does anyone know how to include the photos available in the Telugu version of this page into this English version. For example this photo https://te.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E0%B0%A6%E0%B0%B8%E0%B1%8D%E0%B0%A4%E0%B1%8D%E0%B0%B0%E0%B0%82:Uyyalawada_Narashimma_Reddy_vadina_piramgi.JPG#file — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kautilya1 (talkcontribs) 15:10, 27 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Do not use the Deccan Chronicle in this article

[edit]

This story in the Deccan Chronicle is a straight copy of our article as it was at the end of July 2017. Please do not reinstate it here as a source. - Sitush (talk) 12:19, 13 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

One of the first

[edit]

I removed a claim that Reddy was one of the first to fight against British rule. It was nonsense - his activity was ca. 1846 but even 50 years earlier there had been Tippu Sultan, the Polygar Wars etc. - Sitush (talk) 06:33, 16 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Venugopal Reddy source

[edit]

I am using the source written by K. Venugopal Reddy and published in Social Scientist because this article desperately needs sources and, thus far, it is the only thing I have found that deals with the topic and is at least theoretically reliable. It is, however, one of the most appallingly poor sources I have ever read in a supposedly academic journal, hence the amount of time it is taking me to paraphrase the thing. For starters, the language is garbled and there are significant inconsistencies in spellings throughout the thing, which is not what one would expect in an academic paper that supposedly has significant editorial oversight. I would be extremely happy if something better could be found. - Sitush (talk) 02:57, 19 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

They also plundered Rudravaram before moving to an area near to Almore, pursued by the British military forces who then surrounded them.[1]

This is wrong they did not plunder that is their birth right. Kypavan (talk) 05:55, 5 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

All the details mentioned here have been changed according to the needs of white people. Also, the first rebellion in Sri Lankan history and the entire history of Asia has been published here in a very low way based on the needs of some people.
