Please avoid adding content from other articles or including excessive details with mentions of "likely to believe," etc. There is a reason why the main article is attached in every section. I kindly request that you do not add too many details, or else the article will attract a "too long to navigate" maintenance tag and eventually lose GA status. Additionally, adding too many images is not advisable. Feel free to make any relevant changes, but please ensure you read the GA articles criteria. Thanks.-25 CENTS VICTORIOUS🍁23:00, 17 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your understanding. If you notice, under the sections "Ancient and Classical Period," I have covered empires including the Maurya, Kushan, Gupta, and Harshavardhana, among others. Similarly, I have covered the Delhi Sultanate. I also request that you do not take the contents mentioned in the article personally, as it has previously been a victim of solely Hindu-related information rather than a balanced one. Thanks again.-25 CENTS VICTORIOUS🍁23:25, 17 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
No, you don't have to go that far from "Hindu-related information". One might say that the article is now solely victim of "Mediaeval-related information" or "Muslim-related information" or one could argue about the unbalanced approach by not giving light to the "Ancient-related information" if we go by this rationale. We should be including distinct but concise sub-sections for different relevant polities, merely passing mentions won't do. Nonetheless I'd be presenting my additions of such different entities on talk before including in the article body. Best, – GarudaTalk!00:26, 18 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
25 Cents FC, I don't get your rationale for the removals. this is infact added by myself on Prayagraj, from where It has been imported. Would you mind explaining [1] why there shouldn't be a distinct subsection for an entity which is deeply relevant for the region's history? – GarudaTalk!23:02, 17 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You added the information about Prayagraj, I did not consider removing it since it is related to Prayagraj and is included in the Prayagraj article. Please understand the purpose of sections labeled "main article" or "further information." Main sections are not meant to include deep details. You might want to refer to the Kerala article as an example. Someone added extensive content, and the section attracted a maintenance tag. Moreover, the state has been home to several political entities in the past. Please do not to overdo it as you did with the images mostly related to Prayagraj. The article is about Uttar Pradesh, not solely Prayagraj. Let me know if any confusion. Thank you.-25 CENTS VICTORIOUS🍁23:15, 17 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
