I believe that the reference to Utica College was a lame attempt at humour. Utica College is, in fact, an offshoot of Syracuse University and is a fine educational institution. 168.170.186.130 16:22, 22 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The current UC campus is actually built on the farm grounds from the old psychiatric center. The new building that houses the psychiatric center is very modern.

Sorry but I can't figure out how to edit the references.

The reference for "A Century of Progress at Utica State Hospital 1843-1943" by Mrs Lucy Clark has a dead link, but the same publication is available to view at https://archive.org/details/UticaSHBook.

If someone could fix that it'd be very nice of them.
