I've added a dubious tag about the halting problem reference. With all due respect, I belive the author doesn't understand what the halting problem is: "solving the halting problem" means telling whether a given machine (or program) halts or not. Definition

The current definition has a function but its direct purpose is deliberately unknown doesn't really describe useless machines, or distinguish them from other machines with hidden aspects. Does anyone have (or can find) a better definition? --Drpixie (talk) 22:11, 10 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Appreciation over piggy bank

Replacd some text about its particualarity for a link to Rube Goldberg machine because it was fairly near its definition. Also added doubious a link to Discard Protocol at "see also" because such machine discards input, if you would like to add an informational view that way. Video or animation requested

It is requested that a video clip or video clips be included in this article to improve its quality.
