Book #20
[edit]Made a quick edit here. Previously #20 was listed as "Agent Arthur's Mountain Mission / Voyage to the Edge of the World (announced but never published". I have a small collection of these books that I've held onto and had a look back. Book #1 lists 'Mountain Mission' as #20, however I do have a copy of 'Voyage to the Edge of the World' which is definitely book 20.
From memory (backed by the above), Mountain Mission was to be the 20th but for whatever reason it was replaced by Voyage. I've therefore moved the 'never published' note to follow Mountain Mission and added in the ISBN for Voyage into the article.
Hope this helps :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Brahber (talk • contribs) 08:50, 3 February 2013 (UTC)
On Mountain Mission see https://sites.google.com/site/agentarthursmountainmission/agent-arthurs-mountain-mission -- saying it exists but is extremely rare and sold too poorly to be reprinted. Edit: scratch that: see https://sites.google.com/site/agentarthursmountainmission/agent-arthurs-mountain-mission/2009-correspondance/e-mail-from-martin-oliver 81.155.22.121 (talk) 01:18, 12 May 2018 (UTC)
Whodunnits, and Spinechillers
[edit]Would these additional series come under this heading? Same format, and publishing time? Noble Kale 01:12, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
- No; although they are similar there are no set puzzles to solve. Add these as a new link on Usborne Publishing. Burns flipper 07:27, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
- I have moved these entries out to their own articles as they are not Puzzle Adventures.Burns flipper 08:35, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
Other series?
[edit]I seem to remember another "Puzzle Adventures" series. I can't remember much about it other than that it was an easier version of the normal ones and almost all of the titles began with "Puzzle" (one was Puzzle Island, I think another was Puzzle Planet). I remember it was meant for younger readers. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lord Seth (talk • contribs)
- I've just looked these up on Amazon, and they seem to be called the "Usborne Young Puzzles" series, as opposed to the "Usborne Young Puzzle Adventures" listed in this article. (Does the lack of "... Adventure" mean they should be listed separately? Hmm.) Their titles do indeed begin with "Puzzle" and these are the ones I've found:
- Puzzle Planet [1]
- Puzzle Ocean [2]
- Puzzle Mountain [3]
- Puzzle World [4] - an omnibus including
- Puzzle Journey Around the World [8]
- Puzzle Pyramid [9]
- Puzzle Castle [10]
- Puzzle School [11]
- Puzzle Jungle [12]
- Puzzle Dungeon [13]
- Puzzle Palace [14]
- Puzzle Car Race [15]
- Puzzle Train [16]
- Puzzle Holiday [17]
- Puzzle Dinosaurs [18]
- Puzzle Pirates [19]
- If we decide they're appropriate for this article, we should probably add these in... -- KittyRainbow (talk) 22:53, 24 December 2007 (UTC)
- No, these are the "Young Puzzle" series. Please add these to the Usborne Young Puzzle series article. Burns flipper (talk) 12:18, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
