Female Ejaculation

[edit]

"Additionally, the urethral sponge contains the Skene's glands, which might be involved in female ejaculation, although the existence and nature of female ejaculation remains a medical controversy." What controversey? Female ejaculation most certainly does exist!--72.24.207.77 (talk) 04:23, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

erectile tissue

[edit]

it should be noted that part of the male urethra is also surrounded by the corpus spongiosum inside the penis.

the clitoris is often compared to the penis.

it looks to me like the urethral sponge and the corpus spongiosum of the penis could also be compared in a similar way.

I'd like to observe that this article contains no proper scientific citations. Further, labels on the image often point far away from the structures on the image. While I recognize that on the unmodified source image the line indicating the urethra also stops at the labia minora, I must confess great personal amusement at the addition to the image of a line indicating the "G-spot". First, the existence of the 'Grafenberg spot,' is debated. Largely because tissue examination shows no significant changes around the claimed area. Secondly, the location of the 'spot' is alleged to be on the anterior of the mucosa of the vagina, rather than the posterior feature of this image. clitoris and urethral sponge

[edit]

if i understand correctly the clitoral crura and clitoral bulbs are on the left and right of the urethral sponge.

Penis curved downward

[edit]

Where are you getting this from? Most penises are curved upwards, or fairly straight in the up-down directions. Penises that curve down are comparatively uncommon.

I believe it refers to the angle of the penis due to the position. Prometheus-X303- 23:54, 20 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
