criteria for notability in the Notable faculty?
[edit]To reduce clutter, I propose only professors with wikipedia articles be listed in the Notable faculty section. If a professor isn't notable for a wikipedia article or if none can be bothered to create one, they, imho, shouldn't be mentioned in this article.
I'd, in fact, go one step farther, and say that a professor shouldn't be mentioned unless they've also won a major award, but that's a debate that can be had another day. For now, unless any arguments are presented as to why I shouldn't delete entries without wikipedia articles, I'll delete them in a week. TerraFrost (talk) 17:30, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
photo of a fashion show -- unencyclopedic?
[edit]Why does this article on the University of Texas at Austin College of Natural Sciences feature a photograph of a fashion show? Is fashion design a program of study at the School? Is the fashion show particularly notable to the culture of the School? Why does the photo come with only the most minimal context? I suggest that the photo be deleted and replaced with a more relevant photo, if possible. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.129.163.205 (talk) 04:06, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
