Suggestion to change the article's quality class

I suggest to change (or update) the article's quality, I think it should be rated as B-class. Wee Hong (talk) 08:59, 23 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

UM Logo used endonym naming system 'Universiti Malaya'

[edit]

Starting from 2024 UM officially used endonym name derived from national language Malay to refer to its institution as Universiti Malaya (UM). English speaking community should respect and follow university guideline to adhere with its official logo and not change to old logo that use English naming system before. MikeRoffe143 (talk) 09:44, 7 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I chose the logo for its vector quality, and for its fair use copyright compliance. Ong Kai Jin (talk) 10:19, 7 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
They are subjectively marketing effort upon usage of Malay language. Wikipedia has own naming convention. Ong Kai Jin (talk) 10:31, 7 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If I'm not mistaken, the University of Malaya began to use its official name in Malay since September 2019, thus its official English name no longer used. The reason for the change is to make the university name is easier to pronounce. Thank you for advance.–42.190.111.243 (talk) 02:30, 11 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
