I added this article today & am not a member of this Society nor do I endorse this organization in any way. In fact, I never even heard of it before yesterday. I was interested in ships covers after obtaining one & researched the topic, so I decided to add this article. I attempted to keep the article neutral for informational purposes only & not an endorsement for the Society. Also, I wrote the article in past tense for consistency even though (I believe) this Society was still active. FieldMarine 00:01, 30 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Anyway, you're not pointing to any third party sayings on it, so its notability is not very clear as of now. Have a read at WP:N.
On the other hand, you've put waaaaaay too many wikilinks. There are some guidelines at WP:MOS-L.

Reverting three edits

[edit]

Reverted good faith edits considered spam or advertisements. Information did not seem encyclopedic & made article appear like the organization’s website. Link to USCS homepage should be place in external links section not in main body of article. Please use references when adding material & I recommend discussing changes here first for consensus. Thanks! FieldMarine (talk) 17:10, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
