Seriously, whoever put this together needs to display the Conflict of Interest badge in the edits and talk - this is a straight-up advertisement. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.43.92.66 (talk) 16:48, 12 June 2017 (UTC)
Changes
[edit]Don't want this to sound like an advert, so let me know of any changes we can make to keep it Encyclopedic.JamieBrown2011 (talk) 13:47, 28 June 2013 (UTC)
- I agree. It sounds like an advert badly translated from Korean.Saycheesepleasedear (talk) 13:07, 13 June 2016 (UTC)
- For example, the following section is a carbon copy of the summary of the source, by the source:
- "UBI Research published a new report on flexible OLED displays, forecasting a very fast growth: from 20 million units in 2012 to 150 million units in 2013. UBI sees $6.3 billion in flexible OLED revenues in 2017. This is far more optimistic than the recent report by Markets&Markets who see the entire flexible display market at $3.2 billion in 2017."
- However, the actual report and thus the source is available to purchase only, with a price ranging from approximately 300 to 1000 US$. --lmaxmai (talk) 14:32, 17 September 2016 (UTC)

Overlap with OLED page
[edit]Most of the content on this page isn't about the company but is a generic discussion of OLED as a technology--which is already covered by the OLED page. This is way, way outside my area of expertise, but someone should hack this page down to a just the relevant content (and possibly update the OLED page with information that's here and should be there). XKL (talk) 16:05, 28 July 2017 (UTC)
- Yes, it seems the overlap between the corporation and the tech they license out to Samsung, LG, Apple is rather blurred JamieBrown2011 (talk) 08:21, 13 September 2017 (UTC)
Apple using OLEDs
[edit]It seems notable that Apple is moving their screen tech progressively over to OLED technology from Universal Display. I will add a section to the article unless someone disagrees. JamieBrown2011 (talk) 08:13, 13 September 2017 (UTC)
Update required
[edit]'Some financial analysts have contended that Universal Display's patents are likely to be rescinded in November 2013 at the EPO Board of Appeal'
