Where is the actual beginning?

This is supposed to be an article on "US beef imports in Japan". So why does the current version only discuss the 2003 import ban (resulting from the BSE disease) and subsequent lifting of the ban?

Heroeswithmetaphors's characterizing 2003 as "in the beginning" when created the page is hardly commonsensical. A more plausible beginning point might be the 1991 deregulation of the importation of U.S. beef into Japan.--Kiyoweap (talk) 05:30, 22 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
