Will the cease fire hold?
Today I heard something altogether surreal. KABC in Los Angeles reported the following (verbatim): "Despite a few rocket attacks overnight, the cease fire seems to be holding". Did they even realize what they where saying?! How many rocket attacks constitute a cease fire?! how many rockets would Hezbollah have to fire before the cease fire was considered broken? Does this mean that Israel can kill, say, 3 hezbollah fighters a day and still call it a cease fire? It boggles the mind... Dullfig 16:25, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
- I thought that the cease-fire stood a good chance until I learned who would be fronting the peacekeeping force. I now expect Hezbollah to be firing Katyusas across the English Channel within a month.160.84.253.241 07:16, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
