Picture
[edit]A picture would improve this article a lot, but obviously all the union bugs/labels are trademarks, and besides wouldn't adding it look like we were claiming that all the editors were union members? Maybe we could mock one up. Marnanel (talk) 16:29, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
- Surprisingly to date, six years later, there are yet very few union labels on Commons as best I can tell, and no union label category. While transcribing public domain documents to Wikisource I have uploaded a couple. I've added one to the article for example, which I find to be an interesting one with some history (eg Fredy Perlman)...I would also add an Allied Trades Council one, as these are extremely common, but the one that I had uploaded I had cropped out the local number to implement as formatted text on the Wikisource page. I'm not sure how heavily trademark may be an issue; surely there are ways to show real union labels in ways that don't somehow portray any official connection. Off the top of my head, it could be an angled photograph of a union label in the corner of a printed document. djr13 (talk) 06:37, 18 March 2014 (UTC)
