Unless the commissioned second series will clarify further, could we please have as detailed a clarification of Episode 6, on the main page, as the site gives for the other episodes? Abandoned plotlines

I think it is in season 2 that a homosexual couple is raising a child, and they are blackmailed by a heroin addict. However, this plot line is not resolved, and seemingly has no relevance to the story at all. What gives with this? Did I miss something?
