[edit]They're popular in Japan but nowhere near as popular as this article would like to believe...
As of 2007/10/22 on the yearly chart they're: 63 *,170,814 **1,283 UNDERCLASS HERO / SUM41 07/07/18 64.229.9.15 02:03, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
Also their first week and their peak was *2 *62,608 SUM 41, they didn't even reach #1 on their first day...you can get all your info on the Oricon here: http://www.jpopmusic.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=59092&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 64.229.9.15 02:15, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
Another one: http://wiki.theppn.org/2007_Oricon_Top_100_Albums 172,888 at year's end and the likely official final total considering their October total
And 6 million in Canada? So 1 in every 5 Canadians went out and grabbed this one in less than a year, breaking every sales record and likely the barrier between reality and bizarro world? And surely there must be readily available Billboard info out there. Why is this article so trashy? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.229.155.133 (talk) 05:24, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

Deryck on the Q&A... look on the pages around september Q&A and you'll find Mr. Plow and Nacho Libre as working titles, Deryck also said that some of the titles have no relation with the meaning of the song and that he uses them temporary to identify them 201.223.45.145 00:51, 19 December 2006 (UTC) ==subject to change-- On a question why they had never played subject to change live, Cone answered that the song wasn't finished yet, So it might get on their new album.
WaSnt Subject To Change on the Chuck Album Japan bonus tracks? 82.34.13.234 12:13, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
Yes, yes it was and they are re-working it for the new album. Also i would like to mention that wenever someone adds a title for the CD that they explain where they found it from. Musicslave 00:33, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
cleanup
[edit]cleaned up some facts that were listed twice, such as the band finishing the album and searching for a tour guitarist69.237.93.60 05:58, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
Album name
[edit]There is no source for the album name. If one cannot be found then the article should be removed back to the original article. There is a source for the single but not the album name. You cannot infer that the album name and single will be the same. Therefore I feel that if a source is not added is added then it should be moved back. Tracklisting
[edit]who put "Spiderman" and "Awake" ??? whoever it is should put the link to where he/she found it. i am a very huge Sum 41 fan and i know that this was not on their myspace or Q&A, so give me sh*t about it being there! Musicslave 22:37, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
- It says next to "Awake" that it was hinted at in a video. But a link would be a lot better. Orfen User Talk | Contribs 22:43, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
- ya but WHICH video? it doesnt say! Musicslave 22:26, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
- A source wasn't provided so it should be removed unless the video can be found. Orfen User Talk | Contribs 01:00, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
- whatever, i fixed this by using the < !--, -->tool Musicslave 18:47, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
- I saw the video in question. Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=en5Xn0xb-AA. Anyway, the jist of "awake" as a song is this: Deryck and Stevo were working on a song for Avril Lavigne's new album (Deryck wrote 2 songs for it), and Deryck was outlining a drum beat for Stevo, and said something to the effect of "Kind of like that one beat in "Awake". Naturally, that may indicate a new song that is entitled "Awake". Definitely not a confirmed song, but definite can be considered a "hinted" song. Flytrap 22:13, 9 April 2007 (PT)

WHERE?
Musicslave 03:15, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
i talked to cone through myspace i asked him if he could tell me some of the songs from the new album and he told me those 3, also he told me that the touring guitarists name was Tom. I dont know any way to prove it other than taking a screenshot which i will do if you want
- Please see WP:RS for reliable source information. A discussion on Myspace I do not believe would be a reliable source. Until there is one please do not add it. Thank you! Orfen User Talk | Contribs 23:15, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
- Alright it doesnt bother me aslong as people post where theyve got the material from and as long as they explain it, thats cool. but leaving us question, isnt cool :( .Musicslave 21:37, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
- *sigh*
"March of the Dogs" "Best of Me" havent we gone through this enough? Musicslave 02:26, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
^^^ ok i looked on summer41 and those are some actuall track titles that they have confirmed, im going to put them back up and post a link to where it said this. Musicslave 16:34, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
Uh, where did the tracklistings go? At least MOTD or Underclass Hero could be put there... A Jorb Well Done 00:46, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
NEW CONFIRMED TRACK TITLES!!!! [1] the Confirmed titles and the track listings all equal to 13, which is the confirmed amount of tracks. (confirmed on Sum 41's site) But im leaving the working titles, because they could be, the bonus tracks, as earlier stated by Deryck, he they recorded 19 songs. Ma Poubelle, COULD be the french song, but it might not be.Musicslave 22:09, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
To the guy who deleted "Confusion and Frustraion in modern times", take a look at the link! Musicslave 23:14, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
- is "Shot Down" really the 14th song on the album? WE NEED PROOF!!! Musicslave 17:41, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
- Um..... Number 9...(untitiled) is now titled. This link here: http://www.amazon.com/Underclass-Hero-Sum-41/dp/B000RIHBIE says number 9 is "With Me".
Where the hell do these writing credits come from? I'm not saying they're wrong, 'cause both Steve and Cone have contributed before, but according to the booklet, Steve only cowrote Ma Poubelle and the title track, and all the other songs are Whibley compositions - and the two exceptions are the only two tracks with a different publishing company listed. Does anybody know where Wiki's writing credits come from? (88.64.29.251 04:08, 31 October 2007 (UTC))
Underclass Hero
[edit]on the Underclass Hero page, I changed the date of release to 1st or 2nd week of may, because Sum 41 did not confirm the date at all. Musicslave 03:54, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
it has been confirmed that the re-done Subject to Change and Underclass hero are the same song. check the Summer41 message boards for the link. too lazy to post it :P Musicslave 01:26, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
Reliable sources
[edit]Please note that bulletins and Myspace links are not considered reliable sources. Adding information without reliable sources can be considered disruptive and vandalism. Genre ?
[edit]Please leave pop punk and alternative rock.We don't know anything about punk rock and as they are a pop punk/alt.rock band we should leave it like this. When Derick said more punk rock he mean closer to punk/pop punk not exsacly punk rock like Nofx and Pennywise —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 194.63.235.155 (talk) 08:21, 16 April 2007 (UTC).
- Actually, Sum 41 controls, and puts whatever they want on their MySpace, and on Sum 41's myspace, it says that they're a Rock/Punk/Alternative band, Mr. Thinks he knows it all. It sayts nothing about pop. so where do you get your sources. So don't put pop, unless you know for sure, at least give a RELIABLE website saying that they're that. -Posted by: ΡЦЛќ41t̪ on 22:12, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
The sources I found all say it is pop punk, and it obviously is. 174.227.196.130 (talk) 15:54, 6 July 2013 (UTC)
- You need to share your sources. The citation of one reference doesn't automatically negate another. Editing genre requires consensus. Flat Out let's discuss it 10:26, 7 July 2013 (UTC)
March Of The Dogs
[edit]It was released on iTunes, (I know because I just bought it) so I put it there instead of "will be released." A Jorb Well Done 15:08, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
Album Title
[edit]I still don't think that there is any proof that the album is called "Underclass Hero", so I'm not sure why it's being changed to that, unless some proof is found. A Jorb Well Done 15:08, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
- I feel dumb, sorry, just noticed the one thing with the announcement..A Jorb Well Done 15:10, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
LIST WERE YOU ARE GETTING THIS INFO FROM. I CHECKED THAT ABLOUSTE PUNK SITE AND FOUND NOTHING. Please get more sources to back it up. PLEASE.
It was just confirmed through a myspace blog. A Jorb Well Done 00:46, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
Kay. I see it now.
"Machene Gun"
[edit]i can only say one thing... what the f*ck?? im gonna fix this Musicslave 04:02, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
Chart attack
[edit]chart attack is not a reliable sorce of tracklisting because Sum 41 themselves have comfirmed that some of those titles are wrong from chart attack. therefore, i reverted it to Orfens's last edit.Musicslave 01:00, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
Bonus Track
[edit]On this article it says the bonus track is called 'Look at Me' but on play/amazon etc. the only bonus track is called 'No Apologies'
Release Date
[edit]The wikipedia article says it comes out July 20th, but I always thought it was the 24th..
- Yes, it is. That is what it says on the main website. I have changed it to the 24th. Orfen User Talk | Contribs 20:01, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
Title Track
[edit]People keep changing the statement about the title track to say Underclass Hero is the first album to have a title track, but Chuck has a title track. And it IS full-length. If someone can prove me wrong, please do. Tim Y (talk) 20:27, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
- I'm confused. Where is the track titled "Chuck" on the album "Chuck"? Secondly, why is it important to say anything about this. Trivia sections are pointless. They are a random collection of often dubious and boring statements, of which maybe 1% could be incorporated into the article - the rest should be deleted. This statement is one to delete. Nouse4aname 09:34, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
- The track was there, falsely, but I did not know that and that's why I kept changing it to the second. Someone changed it back to the correct name. Tim Y (talk) 21:06, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
- Ah, I see. I was very confused for a while. Thought I was being very blind and missing the obvious!Nouse4aname 08:16, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

Introduction
[edit]The introduction is too long on this page. Anyone care to cut it down? 80.195.80.148 13:56, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
- Why don't you cut it down, if that's how you feel about it and we'll see if everyone agrees. ╦ﺇ₥₥€Ԋ (talk) 15:56, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

Sum 14?
[edit]What is this album cover? Looks like a rip off of the actual cover. The title is on the wrong side and it says "Sum 14". I didn't notice until I took a second look. User:Brokenyard - 19 January 2008
- i have no clue who did that, but i deleted it and replaced it with the proper cover. LukeTheSpook (talk) 07:46, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

Article class
[edit]I think this article has now grown to much more than stub class. Anyone who didn't contribute much to the article wanna change it to start class? Timmeh! 03:11, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
- I agree, i moved it up to start class for you. LukeTheSpook (talk) 23:03, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
Tom Thacker in some songs
[edit]Yeah, mmm... about the songs have you noticed that tom thacker appeared in this album before he was officially a member of sum 41?? for example in king of contradiction, pull the curtain and count your last blessings he plays the lead guitar and whibley the rhythm one if you listen carefully you will here at the back the rhythm guitar playing thats a reason why you should put tom thacker with the rest of sum 41 in the parenthesis--Dr. Infierno (talk) 18:05, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
- According to the band, Thacker does not appear in the album. What you hear is guitar parts played separately by Whibley and then mixed together. Timmeh (review me) 18:23, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
