Suggestion for External Link
[edit]To whoever is "managing" this page, may I suggest an external link to the "Heath Robinson Rube Goldberg (HRRG) Mixed Technology Computer" project at http://www.diycalculator.com/sp-hrrgcomp.shtml. The idea is to create a computer out of a mixture of implementation technologies, including relays, vacuum tubes, transistors, simple integrated circuits, pneumatic logic, magnetic logic, and so forth. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Memyselfmax (talk • contribs) 21:07, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
- Interesting, but a far stretch from being related to the topic of this article. -- RTC 02:39, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
Implementations
[edit]I renamed the "Mechanisms" section as "Implementations" as the original title clashed with its entry for Mechanical Computers. I also separated the entry pointing at analog computers from the "Gears, levels, dials, etc." list as analog computers can also be electronic, hydraulic, etc. p.r.newman (talk) 17:12, 18 March 2013 (UTC)
Tronics
[edit]Should spintronics and atomtronics be mentioned here? Paradoctor (talk) 19:51, 9 October 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Physis Physis
this is a general article with high importance. i think wikipedia already has pages dedicated to many of the subsections. we can either copy paste parts from the intro's articals or at least use the sources. its not great but its a start becuase the current state of this artical is pathetic. (it's half empty!)
we need someone to get this done.
thoughts?
