Archeological looting on behalf of the Ulu Mosque?
[edit]An article on the archeological site of Comana Pontica suggests It is also possible that the columns and column headings used in the Ulu Mosque in Utrecht, Netherlands and Garipler Cami-Mosques in Tokat city center were also brought from the ancient city of Komana. Sources are yet absent; editor of the article User:Jim Ed may add them. 83.85.143.141 (talk) 00:10, 15 December 2016 (UTC)
- Interesting since the mosque architecture is modernist and the material mainly red brick. So it is not very obvious that ancient columns have a role in that building. Let's wait for strong evidence. Arnoutf (talk) 19:29, 6 June 2018 (UTC)
