[edit]Noticed that the page was pegged for clean up back in Nov. 2005. I've added a section about how ultrasonic testing works as well as cleaned up a bit of wording. I didn't cite references as I got most of the info from watching a demo of an ultrasonic test at work. User:Canuckman55 26 October 2006.
Medical applications?
[edit]Can anybody add a few words about all those medical applications for ultrasonic testing? Nowadays they usually complement mammographic testing, and mothers-to-be can view their offspring-to-be with the help of this technology. --Remotelysensed (talk) 16:24, 7 December 2010 (UTC)NDT-UT2
