Fair use rationale for Image:Mebius & Ultra Brothers.jpg
[edit]Image:Mebius & Ultra Brothers.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

The result of the move request was: move Anthony Appleyard (talk) 15:41, 1 August 2013 (UTC)
- Move performed without discussion; actual title of film. —Ryulong (琉竜) 06:23, 30 July 2013 (UTC)
- The Japanese version (seen in the Japanese movie poster File:UltramanMebiusAndUltramanBrothers.jpg) is ウルトラマンメビウス&ウルトラ兄弟 (Urutoraman Mebiusu ando Urutora Kyōdai) without the second "man" kana syllable. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 08:17, 30 July 2013 (UTC)
- The English text on the Japanese poster however gives us the intended translation provided by the production company who has in the past provided non-literal translations of the film titles and this title was the one the page was located at for 4 years prior to the undiscussed move. The only reason I can't revert this myself is because of some unspecified "bugzilla" edit. The article was at a stable title from July 2008 to November 2012 when it was moved by someone who previously "fixed" a page by moving it when someone had vandalized the page and he had not noticed this in the page history. The original title should be restored regardless of the fact that I did not see this until 8 months after the fact.—Ryulong (琉竜) 20:16, 30 July 2013 (UTC)
- I was forced to do this; I don't like going to talk pages (I force myself to go into my own from time to time when I get a notification) but I made the error on accident. I never enlarged the picture of the movie poster so I could not see the English text, which does say "Ultraman Mebius & Ultraman Brothers" and only went by the Japanese, untranslated, film title. I'm sorry to have caused all this trouble (again). KenYokai (talk) 20:28, 30 July 2013 (UTC)

- Does that mean that omitting a second マン before 兄弟 was an old Japanese typo made by whoever composed the film poster and that the Roman-alphabet version is correct? Anthony Appleyard (talk) 15:31, 1 August 2013 (UTC)

- No it doesn't. For whatever reason Tsuburaya had had the English titles different from the literal translations. See Superior Ultraman 8 Brothers and Mega Monster Battle: Ultra Galaxy.—Ryulong (琉竜) 18:26, 1 August 2013 (UTC)
