There was not a "Smallest Transformers" Magnus

[edit]

I removed the line about an Ultra Magnus figure in the Gokushouhenkei Transformer ("Smallest" Transformer) line. The figure in question was never supposed to be Ultra Magnus. The chase figure GTF X-4 was named Convoy (Haku)/コンボイ(白), and was ment to be the enameled version of Optimus Prime (Convoy) from the Return of Optimus Prime episodes, in which he was coated to avoid the hate plague.

Fair use rationale for Image:Autobot logo s.jpg

[edit]

Image:Autobot logo s.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 22:01, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Toy section blanking

[edit]

While this was discussed in the project page, there was by no means any concensus that toy sections should be blanked completely. Recently the Optimus Prime toy section was condensed to a short entry that editors seemed to agree on. If anyone wants to do the same with Ultra Magnus, I don't think many people would have an objection. Let's see some effort in writing the page, not blind blanking. Thanks! Mathewignash (talk) 09:49, 16 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Where are all these editors that agreed with you. From what I've seen you were the only one to say keep. So that not a consensus by any means. The consensus was reached that the toy section was redundant and a clear advertising, which goes against not. Your are the only editor bent on keeping everything. Don't try and say you're not, cause if you weren't, you wouldn't be so quick to revert every revision that comes up. So if it's going to come down to a single paragraph, then current stuff is going to get bulk removed. So why fight it? So, not we are not going to refrain from the bulk removals just because you don't like it. Sarujo (Talk) 10:06, September 16, 2010
How about we start by removing the knockoff accessory kits from iGear and Fans Project. Or at least not mix them in with OFFICIAL Ultra Magnus toys. If these do require mention, the presentation should make absolutely clear that these are a separate thing not endorsed by the owners of the character. --Khajidha (talk) 16:47, 17 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Why I removed the tag claiming inappropriate use of nonfree content

[edit]

Ultra Magus is character only expressed graphically. He is not a character in a primarily text medium. He has been presented in various genres of graphical expression, and the different nonfree images are necessary to illustrate the different ways he is manifested in these various genres. There is no textual description that shows these differences. Oona Wikiwalker (talk) 05:51, 14 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
