Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer Movie

[edit]

Do you guys think we should mention the fact that Rise of the Silver Surfer seems to have borrowed a similar concept of Galactus from Ultimate Extinction. Or the fact that they quoted the Ultimate Extinction comic word for word at one point in the movie. Captaincanuck65 (talk) 00:16, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Contradictions?

[edit]

I'm confused. Is this article about a five-issue series called Ultimate Nightmare, a trilogy named Ultimate Gah-Lak-Tus trilogy, or a trilogy named Ultimate Galactus Trilogy? SB_Johnny | talk 01:12, 6 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • I think I took care of the contradition with the new intro. --Silver lode

Clean Up Help

[edit]

Anyone want to help with the clean up of this page? Specifically, each section does not need to be so long and the boxes for each title should go away. Also, issue by issue plot summary is against WP:CMC policy and I believe infringes on some rights (one day I will be one of those smart people who remember the the exact names of these rules, rights, and regulations...). --Silver lode 17:45, 6 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. There should not be an issue-by issue summary. At the very least, issue #4 section for Ultimate Extinction needs trimming down. It's pure regurgitation of the issue and not concise at all. Zuracech lordum 16:38, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Criteria for speedy deletion on Ultimate Extinction and Ultimate Nightmare, Ultimate Secret

[edit]
Technically shouldn't this entry be deleted? The main Galactus entry already covered covered the general information and then linked through to the three series of the trilogy. This entry should not really have been created (it was only put together a week or so ago which some of the others have been around for months) as it replicated information already in Wikipedia. Hardback

[edit]

Marvel's just announced a single-volume hardback, which makes it a little more logical to keep the three miniseries in one article. --Mrph 20:52, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:ULTEXT001 cov.jpg

[edit]

Image:ULTEXT001 cov.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:34, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merge

[edit]

As per #Criteria for speedy deletion on Ultimate Extinction and Ultimate Nightmare, Ultimate Secret, since this article can accommodate information on all three series, the material should be moved to this one, centralized place. - J Greb 19:31, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merge - Merge All with three redirects. -- 69.182.78.104 17:26, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree.84.69.90.248 18:00, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • weak merge, my comments above were a concern but the entry there has been slimmed down and while the others were created first and I don't see it as being either/or (you could slim down this entry and use Template:main to link them all up) this entry has been expanded to a point where it starts to make the others redundant. I'd have prefered to leave the 3 limited series separate but that seems no longer to really be an option. If it was then I'd vote keep and use Main. (Emperor 15:14, 24 June 2007 (UTC))[reply]

I agree with the merge and this article can accommodate the other three articles of this miniseries, which all need slimming down anyway. (User:Imacphee —Preceding signed but undated comment was added at 20:49, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ultimate Vision

[edit]

Was Ultimate Vision (the 6-issued limited series) a part of this or wasn't? and what is the six-parted Ultimate Vision in USM #86-88, UXM #65 & UFF #25-26?
