Ref Ulster Museum link under references.
[edit]This link just does not open. I am too cautious about deleting it or in any way altering it. Any advice?Osborne 09:55, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
==Re: Ulster Museum link==
That would be because the Museum never bothered to make a website, and there certainly won't be one for at least three years. It may be better to delete it. Dudeglove 14:28, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
Oh wait. It would seem there is a link that works after all. My browser does not. Dudeglove 14:32, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
Re: Picture
[edit]That picture of the side of the Ulster Museum is truly dreadful, for one it's a terrible black and white picture picture of the "new" museum extension built a couple of decades ago and doesn't capture the character of it at all. Secondly there are far better pictures of the old museum main front that can be used, or even the interior. Can't pictures from flickr or something be used?
The side picture of that filthy 1960s relic is awful. I really hope it can be changed.

Someone left the drawers half open of the chest of drawers!
- I realise that Brutalism isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I like the image in question. I think it's rather striking! Dicdoc (talk) 19:13, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
It sure is striking - but I don't like it either! However I don't have a good one (good-one?) and even if I had could not lodge it in the article! Osborne 09:53, 6 January 2009 (UTC)

Ref: Past Art Exhibitions
[edit]"In an act of gross cultural sabotage, the museum decided to remove the machine at the end of the 20th century, and throw it in a skip." Is this acceptable? it is a personal opinion. Osborne 16:30, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
- No, gross cultural sabotage is not acceptable :)--feline1 (talk) 22:48, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
History
[edit]The first two lines and the reference need checking - it is not well witten. I'm too lazy to check it myself at the moment. Osborne 20:05, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
I remember as a young child which would have been in the early 1990's the museum had an exhibition on both dinosaurs and insects. I cannot remember the actually date but can anyone else? I think a list on past exhibitions would be useful. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.155.54.34 (talk) 13:31, 15 January 2009 (UTC) Yes would be interesting but one hell of a job! When would like to start? Would you like it arranged under subject? Ohhhhh back to 1831?
