Merge to Multiple Sclerosis

[edit]

This page should more properly be merged over to Multiple sclerosis since that is more relevant than an Orphan article like this one. Cpt ricard (talk) 23:20, 13 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Cpt ricard! I oppose a merger on a few grounds. Firstly, Uhthoff's phenomenon is not exclusive to multiple sclerosis, but instead can affect any person with a demyelinating disease (as is now referenced in the article). Secondly, Uhthoff's phenomenon has quite a detailed medical description which is somewhat separate from demyelinating diseases more generally - as the article now stands at over 3,600 characters of readable prose, there is perhaps too much detail too well sectioned for a merge with Multiple sclerosis (which also has over 46,500 characters of readable prose).
