Andreyevichi is fake name and old traduction
[edit]@Khajidha: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/User_talk:Khajidha#Ubort_River The article uses the wrong (Andreyevichi) name of the village The correct modern name in English Andriievychi or Andriyevychi In communication with the person who did the revert and returned the pseudo-title, I gave examples of using the Ukrainian name in a real map services Russian fake got into the article because an article about the river was written on Russian sources and on old sources when Ukraine had no state
Now Ukraine has a state separate from Russia, so you need to use the real Ukrainian name instead of the Russian fake, in addition, modern Internet cards use the Ukrainian real name Now the Internet mapping services use the Ukrainian real name.--Bohdan Bondar (talk) 07:41, 8 April 2019 (UTC)--Bohdan Bondar (talk) 07:41, 8 April 2019 (UTC)--Bohdan Bondar (talk) 07:41, 8 April 2019 (UTC)
- I can't find more than a few hundred references to this by ANY spelling, but those that do turn up use the Andreyevichi spelling by a factor of 2 to 1. If that does not match the preferred transliteration of the Ukrainian government, then that is their problem, not ours. Actual English usage is important. "Correct transliteration from Ukrainian" means absolutely nothing. --Khajidha (talk) 18:12, 9 April 2019 (UTC)
@Khajidha:The problem is that you returned the fake name of Andreyevichi - unverifiable from the point of view of modern cartography. The Englishman will look in the gadget and as a result of the search query will give him a Ukrainian name
The tradition of writing fakie Ukrainian settlements was once a long time ago, now it is over In the discussion with you, I will use the example of the well-known Internet geographic maps of the services of Microsoft Bing Google Maps and others that the Ukrainian village write in English with this Ukrainian official name Ukrainian official name in Internet maps is a weighty argument It can be recorded as the famous Anriyevychi internet maps as well as Andriievychi. Choose according to your taste. You must understand that the period when the English-speaking world is studying the geography of Ukraine in the form of Russian fakes ended up completely [Besides unfortunately Kiev Odessa Chernobyl]--Bohdan Bondar (talk) 21:20, 9 April 2019 (UTC)
