A couple of issues

The information regarding deployment at the beginning of Desert Shield indicates that the ship deployed from it's new home port of Earle, NJ. In actual fact, while the Homeport had been changed at that time, the ship had just left a yard period in Chesapeake and was sitting in port in Norfolk with empty tanks and empty ammunition holds. Also I am moderately sure the ship never entered the Gulf during Desert Shield/Desert Storm, remaining in the Red Sea or the Med for the duration. 2601:2C0:8D00:820D:D579:A675:FD57:4E8B (talk) 20:45, 5 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
