"Despite this fact"...

I removed "Despite this fact, " from the last paragraph as it does not really belong in an encyclopedia article. WeeWillieWiki (talk) 19:53, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed the whole paragraph as a non-notable fictional appearance. It's not even meant to be the Essex-class ship, but is just a name used to avoid tying the story's events to an actual ship. This is common practice in fictional works of all types; on JAG, a USS Seahawk was used throughout the series. Besides, Forrestal is a Forrestal class ship, not an Essex! - BillCJ (talk) 20:28, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

PCU Reprisal

Why is the article titled "USS Reprisal?" The ship never commissioned. It should be PCU Reprisal. Two way time (talk) 03:55, 6 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
