Description under "Capturing the German Submarine U-505"
[edit]The description of the boarding party's capture of the crew is incorrect. Sources I see, for example Capture of U-505 on 4 June 1944 at history.navy.mil, indicate that after storming aboard with the full expectation of resistance, Lt. David's party discovered the U-boat to be deserted. 58 prisoners were taken from the water. I'll do some more research and try to rewrite this section accurately over the next week or so. Another interesting source showing the bravery of the boarding party is Boarding Party Tore Out Demolition Charges In U-Boat That Was Forced Up, Deserted. --CliffC (talk) 01:57, 18 October 2010 (UTC)
