SEE ALSO - Hubert Wilkins

[edit]

There should be a "See Also" link to Hubert Wilkins Sir George Hubert Wilkins MC & Bar (31 October 1888 – 30 November 1958) was an Australian polar explorer, ornithologist, pilot, soldier, geographer and photographer.49.181.237.52 (talk) 03:05, 20 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

One of these things is not like the others...

[edit]

The O-12's sister ships are all much shorter, because they had no second life. Over half of this article is about the significantly modified Nautilus.

In my opinion Nautilus (USS O-12) should be a separate article, as there is even more information to be added. The vessel was extenively modified... Geo Swan (talk) 20:43, 27 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Disagree. Look at the Kongo-class battlecruisers. They were essentially enlarged into battleships and they do not get two articles. We tend to only split articles on ships in the case of ARA General Belgrano, where the careers are divergent in two separate navies and significant events happened in both of them. Just because the US made one of its subs bigger, we'd have to split all the battleship articles too when they could no longer go through the Panama Canal, or for every Essex-class aircraft carrier after they were modified several times to get bigger and heavier.
