Factual Error on the page.

[edit]

In the section, The End Of The Civil War, the sentence "Back in New York, she assisted British steamer European after she exploded in New York Harbor 3 April 1866." is in error. The steamer exploded in Aspinwall, Panama (now Colon) on the date cited. 209.37.78.16 18:03, 23 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Doubly so it seems since the explosion occurred on the 8 April. Anyway I have removed it. dawkeye (talk) 18:40, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fate of the James Adger?

[edit]

According to this web museum: The James Adger was sold to the British Merchant Trading Company in 1867 and renamed the Windsor Castle. She was lost 31 January 1869 in the Bay of Biscay.[1] Broichmore (talk) 16:50, 2 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
