Improvements to article
[edit]I've made some improvements to this article:
- Replaced links to disambiguation pages with direct link to appropriate page, per Wikipedia:WikiProject Disambiguation
- Cleaned-up external references (formatting used was inconsistent; made them all
{{cite web}}
and verifyed & updated access date - Replaced one cite that is old (about Stargate: Continuum planning to film in the arctic with this boat), with a newer one (from Navy.mil described the filming that did' take place)
- Adding some new references
- The boat's Naval Vessel Register entry
- The published Command Histories
There is still work I plan to do:
- Regarding the Command Histories references, I plan to add to the article, and change these to references as I proceed
- In progress, more to do --Joe Sperrazza (talk) 18:00, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
- I also will ref the Naval Registry link in the right place
- Ditto the article about the British boat's accident
- Finally, I'll review the best other submarine articles I can find and see if there are some sections missing that I could add
- I couldn't find any articles about modern submarines that were A class (this doesn't mean there aren't any, I just couldn't find one). USS Triton (SSRN-586) is a Good Article), so I'll refer to that as I proceed. I did see a List of commanding officers in several articles that I sampled. I'll add a section, but do have a question, which I'll show in a new section, below. --Joe Sperrazza (talk) 18:00, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
Do let me know if anyone objects or has comments or suggestions!
Cheers, --Joe Sperrazza (talk) 19:46, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
