Notes[edit]

There we go. Recreated the page. Let me know if there are any problems with how the page currently is.

Page looks much better. Are you planning to write a short article on Stuart Wenham? Would be good. Johnfos (talk) 09:58, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also: The UNSW page, under the 'Faculty of Engineering' subheading has the following information: UNSW Centre for Photovoltaic Engineering currently holds the world record for single-crystalline silicon solar cell efficiency (24.7%). It is one of the leading solar cell research centres in the world with ongoing active research in the area of wafer-based solar cell technologies, thin film cell technologies and advanced third-generation cell concepts.

If you want to include this sort of thing, all you need is a third party reference or two; that is, a source not affiliated with UNSW. This lends credibility to the claims being made. Johnfos (talk) 09:58, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That paragraph has presumably been there for quite a while as it mentions the Centre and not the School (it changed name in 05/06).

Is it possible to mention any of the above information in this page (surely it is more relevant here?) without getting my account blocked for spamming?

Most recent reference for the cell efficiency record (crystalline Silicon) is: Solar Cell Efficiency Tables (Version 31), Prog. Photovolt: Res. Appl. 2008, 16:61-67.StefanG Alum (talk) 09:47, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
