I once again strongly suggest that UFC 122 & UFC 123 be merged together as UFC 122 on November 20th. UFC 121 was the card that was originally scheduled for Germany on November 13th, but due to advertising restraints, later moved to Anaheim, California on October 23rd. Therefore, it should be UFC 122 on November 20th (according to the Machida vs. Rampage source; no location or venue announced) and UFC 123 on December 11th. http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2010/7/9/1562112/ufc-121-first-reported-to-be-held There's also no source to support UFC 122 being held in Germany on November 13th. - Adam Loy
That source has NOTHING to do with 122 or 123. Paralympiakos (talk) 00:34, 23 July 2010 (UTC)
It clearly states that UFC 121 was moved. You're assuming incorrectly that UFC 122 will still be a card for Germany on November 13th, but as I stated above, there's no source to support that. - Adam Loy
I Highly doubt Anderson will take a fight after tonight's fight..he'll at least wait until January in my opinion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.235.199.150 (talk) 06:56, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
So uh. What's with Bleacher Report being a cited source? I could go write an article about how Jose Aldo is going up to face Brock Lesnar and it would be just as credible. Correct or not, Bleacher Report is just place a proud kid to show off his slide show and pass it off as an article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.116.82.6 (talk) 04:01, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
Not in Chicago
[edit]I just read it in the paper. (I live in Chicago), but UFC is not going to be coming to Chicago until sometime next year. They say hopefully spring next year. Not to mention that both United Center and Rosemont (Allstate Arena) are booked already for the weekends that UFC is planning n having UFC 123. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.16.219.51 (talk) 06:13, 14 August 2010 (UTC)
Griffin vs. Jones or Franklin?
[edit]There has been no credible evidence that Forrest Griffin will be fighting Jon Jones, so whoever keeps writing it in with a false citation that has absolutely nothing to do with it, stop. -M9jorodb 02:14 PM, 11 August 2010 (HST)
Ok, first of all, you're replacing a sourced fight with an unsourced, speculative bout. The current source is legit and you're replacing it with nothing. If you have proof of Griffin/Franklin, then see WP:V and follow it. Paralympiakos (talk) 00:16, 12 August 2010 (UTC)

Why even put anything down? Wiki isn't suppose to have anything unless it is fact. Right now the only fight that is for sure to happen is Machida vs Jackson. We don't even know the date of that. Jones, Griffin and Franklin have not even hinted to fighting on this card or even to who their next opponent will be. So instead of arguing (moderator) you should just take that down until its closer to the date.
Also the event will not be in Chicago you may need to fix that too Paralympiakos. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.16.219.51 (talk) 06:22, 14 August 2010 (UTC)
Daniel Gracie?
[edit]Daniel Gracie stated in an interview that he plans on making his return to MMA on November 20th of this year. He refused to name the promotion because he has not yet signed a contract. There are currently no other major promotions with an event on this date (Bellator, Strikeforce, Dream), making this event a realistic candidate for his return. The interview can be seen here: http://www.mmafighting.com/2010/08/30/the-mma-hour-featuring-nate-marquardt-matt-mitrione-daniel-gra/

Not done - pure speculation. Nothing confirmed at all. Paralympiakos (talk) 16:45, 2 September 2010 (UTC)
Machida vs Rampage
[edit]Lyoto Machida vs Rampage Jackson will headlining this card. Any particular reason it hasn't been added to this article??
Also, why can't this, or any other UFC event page be edited? They are very badly created and never kept up to date. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.152.194.46 (talk) 00:44, 3 September 2010 (UTC)
Badly created? They're protected to stop IPs adding unsourced rumours. The page is also kept well up-to-date and has every bit of info we currently know. Machida vs. Rampage is up right now and has been for weeks. Look closer, it's not hard to see. Paralympiakos (talk) 00:46, 3 September 2010 (UTC)
Yes it is badly created. Only 2 of these fights have been confirmed and finalized. Why are there more then 2 on the list? Not every source on the internet is reliable. The only one you can really trust is the UFC for the finalized card. If I am not mistaken you yourself, Paralympiakos, posted rumors. Those of which involved Jone Jones and Forrest Griffin. None of the "sources" were reliable and never did any of them ever say that the fight was in talks or that paper work was involved. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.206.74.61 (talk) 04:45, 16 September 2010 (UTC)
MMA Illegal in Michigan?
[edit]I thought MMA was illegal in Michigan, when did this change? Or was I misinformed? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.149.195.205 (talk) 23:01, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
- You're either mistaken, or it has just been passed by law and athletic commissions. Paralympiakos (talk) 23:02, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
In January of 2010, professional MMA was made legal. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.148.205.220 (talk) 20:53, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
