Taekwondo details

[edit]

Please do clean-up erroneous results of the Taekwondo tournament, ASAP.Aeron Valderrama 05:07, 19 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

They were added by an anon. You may do so if you know what is wrong with them. (I know that the taekwondo tournament is at second semester?) --Howard the Duck 05:13, 19 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
No, taekwondo is in the first sem this year (or maybe in the succeeding years) due to the placement of volleyball in the second sem. I don't know the true results of the taekwondo tournament yet. Aeron Valderrama 04:53, 22 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, ok. Before taekwondo was the last event. I read at Varsi a UST win at taekwondo clinched the overall championship (2002?), But they switched places with Volleyball. --Howard the Duck 02:42, 2 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Swimming details

[edit]

Please be informed that rankings in the swimming championships is based on total number of points accumulated by the team, not solely on medal standings. And if possible, please include all medals. It is suggested that the table be put with these headings: Team | Points | Gold | Silver | Bronze | Total Aeron Valderrama 04:53, 22 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Edit it as you wish, just make sure it is accurate. I suggest to put the points on the rightmost part and boldface them. --Howard the Duck 04:18, 23 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I have the OFFICIAl results of Swimming. I'll edit it SOON :) Aeron Valderrama 10:24, 6 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ateneo-UST game 3

[edit]

Can anyone provide a summary? I won't be able to watch it. --Howard the Duck 02:42, 2 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I wasn't able to watch it either, but... Summary: UST wins by 2 points in overtime. Congrats. :p --Coffee 13:20, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, Atenean. --Howard the Duck 03:31, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The article is getting long

[edit]

We might as well split the basketball and the non-basketball sections. The question is how to do it. --Howard the Duck 03:08, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Much of the basketball info is now at UAAP Season 69 basketball; I've retained the team standings, brackets and awards in this article. --Howard the Duck 18:44, 5 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox

[edit]

The current infobox of this article gives the impression that UAAP Season 69 is nothing more than basketball. --Coffee 13:20, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Take a look at UAAP Season 68, I've developed an expanded infobox where other championships are listed. Since the NCAA and UAAP have different championships and I wanted to create one infobox, I can't figure out how to hide some rows. --Howard the Duck 02:47, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

2006-07

[edit]

Hi guys, I'm not familiar with this sporting event, but can you please clarify whether this is an ongoing event into 2007? If so, we should add the Category:2007 in multi-sport events to it. Cheers, SportsAddicted | discuss 12:15, 28 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This is like the NCAA in the U.S., although we've lumped all events in one article as opposed to separate articles in the NCAA, since there are only eight (seven this season) maximum teams.
As for current, it is technically on hiatus (no games held for the meantime I think). Maybe volleyball started already. --Howard the Duck 12:24, 28 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I see, so what do you think we should do with the categories? having it in 2006 only, 2007 only or in both? SportsAddicted | discuss 13:43, 28 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I'd say both. But make UAAP Season 69 basketball at 2006. --Howard the Duck 07:02, 29 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
OK, SportsAddicted | discuss 11:29, 29 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Order

[edit]

Anyone know which events started first? I know basketball is always first. I dunno abot the others. --Howard the Duck 05:29, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Colors

[edit]

Let us use colors as you would put flags in sporting competitions. :) Aeron Valderrama 06:04, 7 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You're free to do so since they're public domain (I even encourage it hehehe). --Howard the Duck 06:08, 7 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Other tournaments

[edit]

Since other tournaments do not have prose and look like several deleted articles (see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/NBA Results November 2006), I'll nominate them for deletion, since they can be managed on this page. --Howard the Duck 08:46, 22 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Baseball?

[edit]

I've read on GMANews.tv that Ateneo forfeited all of their games. Can anybody clarify? --Howard the Duck 12:47, 17 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, they have forfeited their games due to Zialcita's failure to submit some papers supporting his Filipino citizenship. Aeron Valderrama 08:26, 22 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Softball Merge Request

[edit]

While some sports on the UAAO Season 69 page may warrant a stand-alone article UAAP Season 69 softball tournaments does not. There is simply not enough new info for it, plus it is un-sourced since 2007. By simply moving the tiny elimination round results over to this main page it will all be in one place and more easily noticed and maintained by wikipedia editors. Then we can place a redirect on the forked page right to [1]. By itself and the fact it is mostly redundant with the main page, it could get administratively challenged in the future. I thought it best for those directly involved to handle it. Thanks. Fyunck(click) (talk) 23:26, 14 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
