US 311 alignment in Virginia.
[edit]To serve the Southern Virginia Berry Hill Megasite industrial project, much of Berry Hill Road, in Pittsylvania County, has been renamed Harville-Saunders Parkway, with a stretch of new construction and realignment of part of Oak Ridge Farms Road also being named Harville-Saunders Parkway. With this change, US 311 North now terminates at the former Oak Ridge Farms Road interchange on US 58 (Danville Expressway). The remaining portion of Berry Hill Road has been redesignated Alternate 311, from Harville-Saunders Parkway (US 311) to Martinsville Highway (Business 58), with North Alt 311 terminating at Business 58. The realignment has been partially signed in the field, but many signs still need to be updated, particularly signs on US 58 at the former Oak Ridge Farms Road interchange. 65.254.187.110 (talk) 14:18, 20 December 2024 (UTC)
