POV
- Tyrone repeated this success in 2005, defeating Kerry in the final, copperfastening Ulster's domination of football in recent years. < Recent as in last 4 years ,would be true then , but over 10 years not so
- Tyrone have become one of the most successful teams in Gaelic football over the past few years. However, Tyrone were not always considered footballing superpowers. <Same as above
- This match is of particular significance with Peter Canavan scoring 11 points for the county, and yet came out on the losing side < significance to who, i'm sure for dubs it would be significant for different reasons

- (However, former superpowers such as Dublin, have fallen to the wayside)
- (See above indeed)
- (I found is significant when a Dublin who was sent off, kept playing)

Suggestion
The history sections is very impressive but it is in my opinion its too long for the main articial, i would suggest spliting it off to History of Tyrone gaelic football, leaving a small history here (Gnevin 21:16, 3 November 2006 (UTC))
