[edit]Paradoxically, the antibody responses induced by Ty21a Vivotif were enhanced by clarithromycin and doxycycline, despite the ImmunoSuppressive effect of these 2 antibiotics. The antibody response was also enhanced by ampicillin, which is Not known to have immunoModulating effect.
