Caliber?
[edit]What was the caliber of the Japanese Type 1 machine gun? The article states: Caliber: 7.92 mm (7.92x57mm Mauser)?. But that chambering designations seems to have been taken from the German MG 15 machine gun specifications. Generally, I believe the Japanese used 7.7 mm chambering for their later WW 2 period light/medium machine guns. Perhaps it used 7.7x58mm Arisaka cartridges? This issue needs some clarification as it stands now, Japan used some unknown 7.92 cartridge as well as well known Japanese 7.7 and 6.5 cartridges. --TGC55 (talk) 02:22, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
Expansion title
[edit]I'm planning on expanding this article by including both the Army and Navy's guns. If anyone has better idea for the title you could give your opinion on the matters. Jauhsekali (talk) 01:38, 24 November 2023 (UTC)
