Tuv (Youtuber)
[edit]Alberto "Bertie" Ruiz (born: March 18, 2002 [age 21]), better known online as tuv (or tuvington), is an American YouTube documentary commentator. His father is Mexican and mother is Guatemalan. He is best known for his documentary style videos on morbid/dark topics and he is of a Mexican and Guatemalan descent.
Tuv created his account on July 12, 2012 when he was 10 years old. His earliest video can be dated back to July 11, 2013 entitled "Fake Car Crash". A few years later his content was similar to the likes of MrBeast (who he often states as a big inspiration as a YouTuber), consisting of 24 hour challenges and giving away money to people. His first popular video was "WHO is BELLA POARCH and why is she FAMOUS?", which was uploaded September 12, 2020 and has since gained 280,000 views. His channel started gaining massive popularity when he released a video titled "Smoking That EDP445 Pack Where He Got Caught" on April 28th, 2021. He released a hyperpop song called "Cherry Soda" on February 25th, 2022.
Tuv also has a second channel which he refers to as his "personal channel" where he uploads "anything he wants". Uploads from this channel include "hair tutorial", "update that you probably won't watch all the way through. this title is unnecessarily long. boobs." and many other random videos. Tuv uploads videos that he deleted on his main channel back to his second channel every 10,000 subscribers. This includes one old vlog and an old commentary video where he would use the character Daffy Duck to portray himself.
Besides doing YouTube, he also does hyperpop music. He released his first music "cherry soda" on February 25, 2022. He made a lot of Tweets referring to the music. It has currently gained over 650,000 views as of May 9th, 2022. Cherry Soda's music video is directed by YouTuber ch6rge, and the music itself is made with a producer named Gunner. He made a documentary of making Cherry Soda that is available on tuv's "bertie" channel. He also made a hashtag #cherrysodaopen and made a "open verse" verison of the song for his fans and singers to do their own verses. Tuv used FL Studio to make the music itself. He has recently released a vocal preset for his vocals on Cherry Soda.
He released his second music video "corazón" on June 15, 2022. The song was inspired by Mexican corrido music and included both Spanish and English lyrics. Ch6rge returns as the director and the music was produced by Al3nBEATZ.
His third music video "overdose" was released on October 3, 2022. He also released an album titled "ear candy" on January 26, 2023 that contain both overdose and cherry soda.
His main influences are Glaive, brakence, aldn, midwxst, and ericdoa.
