[edit]This information copied above from the last line of the Recognition section is incorrect. (The Turpin Site and the surrounding farm are still owned by the Turpin family, which grows sod on the property.[7])
The line should read: The Turpin Site is owned by Anderson Township and is protected Greenspace. The property was purchased from James T. Walls in 1994. The neighboring farmland is owned by the Turpin family, which grows sod and other crops. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.219.232.36 (talk • contribs)
- Can you provide a reference for that change? A link to an article, book, website, etc, stating such? Heiro 19:28, 4 May 2021 (UTC)
- Someone added a link to this website to the article today [1], possibly you editing with a new named account, but it does not mention the Turpin site. We would need a reference that actually discusses the ownership of the site per our policies on WP:CITE, WP:VERIFY and WP:RS. Heiro 19:34, 4 May 2021 (UTC)
