Fair use rationale for Image:TurkeyHill-1967.gif
[edit]Image:TurkeyHill-1967.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

advertising
[edit]i feel like there's some blatant advertising on this page. someone put a link (from the article by the way, not as a reference) to a photo contest on their corporate website. i think they ought to go --Ademkader (talk) 17:00, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- Agreed, the photo contest is of no particular significance to the company; unless the company uses the photos in a more critical manner (a la Jones Soda). --Bossi (talk • gallery • contrib) 23:16, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
Sister companies, subsidiary companies or what?
[edit]I think this article should be headed for Splitsville, and here's why...
I'm somewhat confused regarding the status of Turkey Hill's different enterprises. The convenience store company appears to be a subsidiary of Kroger, and yet has the same ownership as the ownership of Turkey Hill Dairy. How can this be?
I say that since Kroger apparently owns the convenience store, that even though they have the Turkey Hill name, their interests diverge from Turkey Hill Dairy and therefore should probably have a separate article.
I propose that the Turkey Hill Minit Market article be created, and information relating to the convenience store be moved there. I also propose that there be a Turkey Hill Dairy article created, the information relating to the dairy being moved there. Finally, I propose that the Turkey Hill (company) article as currently appears be refashioned into a disambiguation page listing both Turkey Hill Minit Markets and Turkey Hill Dairy articles.
I would say I'd give this a timeline of no less than 14 days for comment.TheBigZzz (talk) 01:15, 11 October 2009 (UTC)
I would have to agree that the Minit Markets, Turkey Hill Dairy and the Turkey Hill Experience are all separate pages. Although all these entities are owned by Kroger, they serve different consumers, markets and provide different services. We should break out Minit Markets and the Turkey Hill Experience into new pages and leave the company page for the Dairy.GC NewMedia (talk) 13:35, 11 July 2013 (UTC)
