A little confusion maybe?
[edit]First, where is the source that tells this movie was the first animated feature to use CGI? And the quoted part which says "..., every day someone was creating something new. None of us slept, it was common to work 22-hour days. Everything you saw was something new..." I don't think this has anything to do with the production fo the movie, but a description of what was going on at the computer graphic group at NYIT at this time. This was a traditional animated movie, and I find it hard to believe computer scientists would be awake 22 hours to work on a film drawn by hand. 193.217.195.238 00:20, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
No computers were involved
[edit]Here is an interview with no other than Ed Catmull and Alvy Ray Smith, the leaders of the Computer Research Group at NYIT when the movie was made:

Between 23,5 minutes and 24,5 minutes into the documentary, we hear that the computer group didn't have anything to do at all with the production, because the team of traditional animators felt threatened by the computer animators and sabotaged their involvement. 84.48.35.203 (talk) 08:36, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
