Missing Source
[edit]"Tsʼil Kaz Koh as a name is derived from the Carrier name for "the" creek that runs through the area."
It seems reasonable to challenge this, given it has no source. My understanding is that Ts'il Kaz (Tsilhk'az/Tselhk'az) is the Dahelh name for Burns Lake. However, I'm unclear what creek this is referencing as there is no "Burns Lake Creek".
Could it be Poison Creek? Sheraton Creek? The BC geographic names database doesn't have etymology for the local creek names. If anyone knows where this specific claim came from, please add a source. I've found nothing in William Poser's Dahelh-language dictionary. 208.181.3.35 (talk) 22:36, 24 February 2025 (UTC)
