The third battle of Panipat
[edit]There was an edit from IP address 59.92.241.183
It removed these lines:
"Shejwalkar points out that the greatest valour in the battle was shown by Ibrahim Khan Gardi's infantry and artillery division which was manned by the low caste South Indian Hindu and Muslim Telangis."
I have reinstated them because Shejwalkar says them in Marathi in his book on Panipat, 1761.

This article is written in Indian English, which has its own spelling conventions (colour, travelled, centre, analysed, defence) and some terms that are used in it may be different or absent from other varieties of English. According to the relevant style guide, this should not be changed without broad consensus. |
G D Khanolkar, Shejwalkar's official biographer, has stated that Shejwalkar told him that he ghost-wrote G S Sardesai's book "Nanasaheb Peshwa".
It's entirely likely, considering TSS's talent, that he wrote the book in the style of Sardesai and then went on to criticize it.
There is nothing dubious about it and hence I have undone your edit.
