Possible merge with IOLTA and/or creation of Lawyer Trust Account
[edit]I've just created this Trust money article that concentrates on withdrawing trust money for legal costs in Australia. There is also an article on Interest on Lawyer Trust Accounts that exists and is based on America. What are editor opinions on creating Lawyer Trust Account and have it cover at least Australia and America and cover at least the topics of interest earned on the trust money (and how that interest is used) and the laws regulating the handling of trust money. One article could get very large so it may be better to rename Trust money to Withdrawing trust money for legal costs and be more specific, Also allow the Interest on Lawyer Trust Accounts to be more specific and use the Lawyer Trust Account for the general top level regulations applying to each State and Country. I'd also like to integrate them with Law Society, Legal Practitioners Conduct Board, Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal and Bar association and other legal organizations. I have created 2 user articles - User:Philiashasspots/Legal Practitioners Conduct Board and User:Philiashasspots/Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal that I was going to add details for the Australian State LPDTs and LPCBs. I have notified 3 other editors of this discussion who may have an interest. User_talk:Bearian User_talk:Rewinn and User_talk:Bilby Philiashasspots (talk) 23:35, 19 January 2013 (UTC)
- I would go along with a merger. Bearian (talk) 00:15, 23 January 2013 (UTC)
