What about the fines and lawsuits?

[edit]

Shouldn't there be some information about all of the fines and lawsuits by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regarding the pollution this golf club caused? Shouldn't there also be photographs of all of the For Sale signs that currently surround the property area that the golf course resides on? cost to taxpayers, add?

[edit]

The Trump National Golf Club Bedminster, the Secret Service was charged $17,000 a month to use a cottage in 2017. The Trump Organization also billed the US government for days when Trump wasn’t there.

Similarly, the Trump Organization charged Trump’s Secret Service rates as high as $650 a night and $17,000 a month for a cottage, which contradict Eric Trump’s own statements that "If my father travels, they stay at our properties for free." At the Mar-a-Lago Club, the Secret Service was charged the $650 rate dozens of times in 2017, and a different rate ($396.15) dozens more times in 2018.

The full extent of the Secret Service’s payments to Trump’s company is not known.

Water issues

The club is facing opposition in how much water it draws: https://www.njspotlight.com/2020/11/trump-bedminster-golf-club-water-application-millions-gallons-environmentalists-object-cite-groundwater-depletion/ Thriley (talk) 18:33, 25 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Missing sources / Relevance

[edit]

Two sentences under Trump family cemetery appear to be unsourced and irrelevant to this article. Original research?

"The land of a New Jersey cemetery business cannot be repossessed for debts owed. However much of the 500+ acres is registered taxable only as farmland, so it’s hard to say that that one grave would, if challenged, protect all his landholdings there." Agree. There is no other mention of this or anything relating to it anywhere else in the article, it should be removed. Oocca Truth (talk) 14:54, 22 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
