i read that Kreisimir the Great the son of Stjepan I mentions Kresimir III as his Gradfather 89.172.88.38 (talk) 12:53, 27 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

On Stjepan's page, that he was son of Svetoslav is cited directly to a source. That being the case, it takes better evidence than just a User stating 'I read something different somewhere' to change such cited material. Agricolae (talk) 13:19, 27 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
here they say he is the son of Krešimir III,https://www.enciklopedija.hr/natuknica.aspx?id=58162, https://www.enciklopedija.hr/natuknica.aspx?id=47856 89.172.88.38 (talk) 14:18, 27 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
First off, this is not the place to solve this question. It needs to be worked out on Stjepan's Talk page. There some determination of consensus needs to be reached. Yes, you have a source that says he was son of Kresimir, but that is in direct conflict with the source cited on Stjepan's page for him being son of Svetoslav. This can't be addressed by simply deciding you like yours better and replacing the information, because someone who is familiar with the other source and its information can simply came through and do the same thing. Some determination needs to be made over whether one source or the other represents current scholarly consensus, or alternatively, if it is best presented as being uncertain which is the case. Once that determination is made then any change can be made to Stjepan's page (to the actual text, not just to the infobox), and that is when this chart can be modified accordingly. And for what it's worth, I have just found two other sources that say he was Svetoslav's son.Agricolae (talk) 15:35, 27 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
