Suggested Name Migration to "Trout Lake (West Kootenays, British Columbia)"
[edit]As part of an effort to disambiguate the three Trout Lakes in BC—a park in Vancouver, this lake in West Kootenays, and a town also in the West Kootenays—I've suggested that the former be migrated to Trout Lake (Vancouver, British Columbia), whilst this page be migrated to Trout Lake (West Kootenays, British Columbia), and the town of Trout Lake remain at Trout Lake, British Columbia. This would be in line with the naming standard use for US towns and features with the same name within a single state, which are disambiguated by county, e.g. Trout Lake (Arietta, Hamilton County, New York) and Trout Lake (Warren County, New York)
This is a stub article so I will be doing this in a few days unless there are any objections. Hitoubashira (talk) 21:03, 22 July 2024 (UTC)
