Copyvio?

[edit]

This looks to be a copyvio of [1]. --128.135.230.115 (talk) 07:51, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Gt Trossachs NNR v Trossachs

[edit]

It is misleading to have the NNR in the infobox to a page that is not about the NNR but which nevertheless includes it. The NNR is but a subset of the Trossachs and might arguably be better to have its own page. A glimpse at the article might misled someone into thinking that the entire Trossachs was a category II landscape for example, which it is not - indeed the NP within which it is found is a category V landscape. And, whilst I'm here, is not '(The) Trossachs' article one of those uncommon examples which ought to be titled with a preceding 'The' as in The Hague. Geopersona (talk) 14:09, 3 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I agree - I've replaced the infobox with a more standard "UK place" one. Zacwill (talk) 20:08, 2 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Muddled definiton

[edit]

The definition of the region offered in the "Geography" section makes no sense. If the road between Stronachlachar and Aberfoyle is the western boundary of the Trossachs, then Glen Gyle, which lies northwest of Stronachlachar, can hardly be the southern boundary. A more logical southern bound would be Loch Ard or the Carse of Forth. Zacwill (talk) 19:54, 2 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
