GA Review

Once again, the article is well-written and gives a good description of the storm and its effects. Three things came up during the review:

  1. The statements about how long it had been since the previous tropical storm in November are confusing. Was it both the first in the North Pacific since 2000 and the first in the Eastern Pacific since 2002? Are both important to mention? If so, I think it would be helpful to mention them together (eg. "It was the first tropical storm to occur in November in the North Pacific Ocean since 2000 and the first in the East Pacific since 2002"). My phrasing isn't great, but I hope it gives you the idea.
  2. "inflated due to rain contamination" - I'm not quite sure what this means. Could it be rephrased to make it more accesible?
  3. There is a wikilink to "convective band", but I don't see any mention of what a "convective band" is on the linked article.

I'll place the nomination on hold. Questions and comments can be left here. Best wishes, GaryColemanFan (talk) 15:33, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Done with everything. Thanks for the helpful review, as always. Cheers, –Juliancolton Tropical Cyclone 17:10, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Is it possible to briefly explain what is meant by "rain contamination"? In addition, why does the wikilink to "Other tropical cyclones named Rosa" in the "See also" section go to a disambiguation page for Hurricane Boris? GaryColemanFan (talk) 18:23, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Looks good. Thanks for the quick response. GaryColemanFan (talk) 18:31, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. Let me know if you think I need to clarify the "rain contamination" further. Cheers, –Juliancolton Tropical Cyclone 18:34, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
