Etymology

Could possibly be short for Tristan. But the article doesn't comment on whether Tris is his real name, a short form or just a nickname. A quick Google search doesn't bring up anything that obviously addresses the question. Does anybody have any idea how we could find out? — Smjg (talk) 23:51, 24 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
